Orchid bark is a bark sourced from coniferous trees, mainly fir bark. It is a substrate/medium commonly used to grow 

aroids, orchids, epiphytes and other plants that prefer quick draining yet moisture retentive soil. Try adding orchid bark to premade soil mixes to add extra air and drainage your plants will thank you for it.
