Snake | Coppertone
Snake | Coppertone
This rare and unusual variety of snake plant has beautiful bronze and copper tones hence it’s name sake!
Known for being the bad plant parents starter plant for it's incredibly hardy nature. Although the scientific classification was known as sansevieria it has been recently updated to the Dracaena genus because of the commonalities -
Dracaena trifasciata. They can tolerate low light conditions and dry spells, but they will obviously not thrive in these conditions. Beware not to overwater these plants as thats the most common way people kill them.
Light: Will tolerate all light levels. Does best in shade to partial sun.
Water: Let the soil dry out between waterings. Water less in winter. A good way to check if plants have dried out is by the weight of the pot as light pots will mean its dry.
Pets: Snake plants in large doses can be toxic to both people and pets.
Botanical Name:
Dracaena Trifasciata
